Our 2010 summer family vacation started with driving to San Antonio for Sea World. On our way into San Antonio, we decided to miss 5:00 traffic, so my smart hubby had researched the "Wildlife Ranch" in the Hill Country off the interstate. We sporadically make a decision to go for it...and it was so fun, the pics deserve its very own post...Part II.
This zoo is a drive through zoo, meaning you stay in your car, roll down your window, and at your own RISK, feed the animals...they literally come right up to your window, hence the pics. It was absolutely hysterical. It was amazing to also see these creatures up close...I mean you know what a zebra looks like from a far, but seeing them so close was very cool. God's creatures are so detailed and awesome. The faces that they would make were so funny...we kept making comments about what we thought they were thinking. The zebra's would have gotten in the back seat and put their seat belts on to drive around...the goats were extra friendly and the ostrich, well she wasn't too thrilled with her surroundings.
Such a fun outing and more summer extravaganza to come!
