Well, Ben and I decided to have a blog. We have so many "out of towners" we call friends, that maybe this way, we can keep in touch better! (Ahh..the wonders of today's technological advances...we already have facebooks and I have myspace, but why not have something else!??)

David pretty much consumes our life right now and we don't mind a bit! For those of you who don't know, Ben and I became pregnant last June and it was a bit of a surprise...(yes, we know how you get pregnant, but it was still shocking!) My brother in law and his wife, Stephen (mayor...:) and Alison also became pregnant at the same time, so we got to share the whole experience together, which was pretty cool. David was born Feb. 21st and Adyson was born Feb. 25! Kissin cousins! Since becoming pregnant and enjoying all nine months of sickness, my labor and delivery was a breeze and for the last 5 months, Ben and I have been changing diapers, not sleeping much, but realizing a love that we didn't know was possible.

David is a hoot. He's got a very outgoing personality. All in all, he is a very happy baby and getting into everything. Trying to crawl more and more everyday and sitting up by himself for about a minute before he tumbles over. He sleeps through the night about 4 nights out of the week and those nights Ben and I remember what it is like to wake up happy. The other 3 nights we have gotten used to car drives, bottles and watching the stars in the early AM because David can always be soothed by walking outside.

Our little boston terrier Gracie has adjusted well to her little brother, but Sissy, my parents teacup Chi is very protective of him, but still has to have lots of attention of her own.

The business is going well for Ben and he just got back from a succesful market in Vegas. (tough job. ha!)..he got to see Rod Stewart in concert and meet the infamous Donald Trump. He was gone a miserable seven days and I was so elated when he got back, because he and David have been having father/son bonding time, which enables me to write on this right now!

All for now...hope everyone has a glorious Monday! We are off to Patrick and Lauren's wedding in Houston this weekend. All the Mayo brothers will have purty wives in T-town!!
